New Delhi: Diwali is the time when people residing away from home head back to their hometowns. This festive season, the Modi government is gearing up to bring good news for those who will be driving home for the celebrations. According to the reports, people driving car will not have to worry about the hassle of recharging the FASTag.
The government has launched a new app through which the owners can pay tolls without recharging FASTag separately. We’re talking about the “My FASTag” app. This app has been developed by the Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL) and is available for download on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
With this app, you can easily manage your FASTag account and access several useful features. Many times, people forget to recharge their FASTag, and some only realize it when they reach the toll booth — causing further delays. However, with this new app, such problems will no longer occur. Here in this article, we have mentioned all the important details about the App.
Here are some of the key details:
- The app has received over 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store.
- It has a rating of 3.6. Android users can download the My FASTag app from the Google Play Store, while iPhone users can get it from the Apple App Store.
- With the My FASTag app, drivers will be able to pay tolls without manual recharge.
- The app offers a UPI AutoPay option, allowing you to link your FASTag with any bank account.
- Whenever you use the FASTag linked to that bank, there will be no need to recharge manually — it will be automatically recharged through AutoPay.
Through AutoPay, the amount will be automatically deducted from your bank account. The app will show all your transactions — for example, how much money was deducted for tolls or parking.
