Bihar may soon get new Vande Bharat trains in the coming days. Top railway officials have already sought information regarding the implementation of this decision. Four Vande Bharat trains could be operated from the state’s major city, Muzaffarpur, and officials will prepare a feasibility report for this. On the instructions of East Central Railway (ECR), the Sonpur division has already initiated the process.
It is noteworthy that a report has been sought from the manager of Muzaffarpur Junction railway station. The officials of the commercial department and the operating department will study the station for about 15 days and prepare a report. This report will then be sent to the headquarters for the final decision. The report will have all kinds of information related to the possibilities and needs of running Vande Bharat trains will be collected.
Vande Bharat Train Can Be Run On These Routes
The Sonpur railway division has proposed extending Vande Bharat Express service from Muzaffarpur to New Delhi, New Jalpaiguri, Howrah, and Varanasi. The Railway Board is now expediting the process, requesting a feasibility report before implementation.
