Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Due to a change in wind direction, both day and night temperatures have started rising.
According to meteorologists, the weather is expected to remain dry for the next three to four days, with temperatures likely to stay above normal.
A drop in temperature may occur only after the movement of a new western disturbance.
On Saturday, the lowest night temperature was recorded in Mandla at 8.9 degrees Celsius, while Pachmarhi, a hill station, recorded a nighttime temperature of 5.6 degrees Celsius.
Three cities, including Mandla, recorded minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Ratlam recorded the highest daytime temperature at 33.2 degrees Celsius.
According to meteorologist Abhijit Chakraborty, a western disturbance is currently present near Pakistan in the form of a trough. Due to this, an induced cyclone has formed over western Rajasthan, southern Punjab, and parts of Pakistan.
In northern India, a jet stream is active over Delhi at an altitude of 12.6 kilometers, with winds moving from west to east at a speed of 240 to 259 kilometers per hour.
The wind direction remains southeast and southwest, leading to an increase in both daytime and nighttime temperatures. Weather expert Ajay Shukla mentioned that similar weather conditions are expected to continue for the next three to four days.
