Mahira Khan is one of the biggest names in the Pakistani film industry. The actress had made her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2017 release Raees, but due to political issues between the country, she didn’t get a chance to promote the movie in India. Mahira had impressed one and all with her performance in the film, and her chemistry with SRK in the song Zaalima was simply amazing. Now, recently, Mahira grabbed everyone’s attention as she took her Raees co-star Shah Rukh Khan along with her to the shoot.
Yes, you read it right! SRK accompanied Mahira to her shoot on Sunday, but not physically. So, the actress wore a t-shirt with the superstar’s picture printed on it. The actress captioned the post as, “Working on a Sunday.. brought him along to make it a fun day.” Mahira also used the song Zaalima for the post.
Well, fans quickly spotted SRK on the t-shirt, and started commenting about it. A fan wrote, “That tee and song always a srk fangirl!!” Another fan wrote, “T-Shirt… This is one of the coolest SRK pictures in his prime days.” One more fan commented, “Us Mahira us! SRK forever.”
Mahira has always stated that she is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan, and working with him was a dream come true for her.
After Raees, Mahira couldn’t work in any Hindi films as Pakistani actors were not allowed to work in Indian movies. However, the ban has been lifted and Fawad Khan has already started shooting for his next Bollywood movie. So, we wonder if Mahira will also make a comeback in Hindi films soon. Let’s wait and watch!
Meanwhile, Mahira has interesting Pakistani films lined up like Neelofar and Love Guru. The actress will also be seen in Netflix’s Pakistan-based show, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo. In Neelofar and Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo she will be seen sharing screen space with Fawad.
