CM Yogi’s zero tolerance for crime: ‘mafia, riots stopped; state now land of festivals’

The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, on Saturday inaugurated the high-end projects at the 36th foundation day of GIDS (Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority) in Gorakhpur. This comes days after the hoisting of Dharma-Dhwaj at Ayodhya’s famous Ram Mandir. The inauguration was done for 14 projects of nearly Rs. 408 crores by laying the foundation stone.

What did CM say?

The Chief Minister, after inaugurating the event, mentioned, “There is no goondaism or Mafia Raj in today’s Uttar Pradesh. Zero tolerance for crime is not just a policy — it is our language, our identity, and our emotion.”

He added, “Mafia has vanished, curfews have ended, riots have stopped. A state once troubled by unrest has now become the land of festivals.”

BJP-led government

CM Yogi stated that inward investments are creating greater job opportunities. “We received investment proposals worth ₹45 lakh crore. Of this, ₹15 lakh crore is already on the ground, and another ₹5 lakh crore will be implemented this December,” he said.

He gave the papers of allotment for these projects during the event. This has set the state on a path for investment of over Rs. 6000 crores.
