New Delhi: The Pakistan government on Thursday sounded lockdown across country after India launched a massive attack in Islamabad, Lahore, Sialkot. For the second consecutive night, on Thursday,  the terror state Pakistan carried out drone and missile attacks targeting multiple locations in Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan. Suicide drones and missiles were launched by Pakistan, but India’s S-400 air defence missile system successfully intercepted and neutralized the threats.

Heavy shelling was reported from the RS Pura sector, while intense firing from the Pakistani side was also taking place near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara and Baramulla. The Indian Army is actively retaliating. Pakistan also fired eight missiles targeting Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, and Arnia sectors, all of which were intercepted by India’s S-400 systems.

Blackouts in Multiple Regions

  • Jammu & Kashmir: Jammu, Udhampur, Kishtwar, Akhnoor, Samba, Srinagar, and Anantnag
  • Rajasthan: Barmer, Bikaner, and Sri Ganganagar
  • Punjab: Chandigarh, Mohali, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Gurdaspur, and Pathankot
  • Gujarat: Bhuj and Kutch
  • Pakistan Attempted to Strike Over 15 Military Bases the Previous Night

Following Operation Sindoor, on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, Pakistan attempted to target more than 15 Indian military bases. These efforts were again thwarted by India’s Russian-made S-400 defence system.

In retaliation, on Thursday morning, India destroyed Pakistan’s air defence systems using Harpy drones acquired from Israel.

At 2:30 PM on Thursday, the Ministry of Defence reported that Pakistan had also targeted cities across North and West India. Drone and missile attacks were launched on Avantipora, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj. All incoming threats were successfully intercepted.
