Lava has launched its latest budget 5G smartphone in India, the Lava Shark 5G. It is the first phone in Lava’s new Shark series and comes with a big display, clean software, and 5G support at a low price.
The design of Lava Shark 5G is stylish, with a glossy back that gives the phone a premium look. It comes in Stellar Gold and Stellar Blue colors. The phone also has IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
The phone has a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smooth display makes scrolling and watching videos better. It is powered by the UNISOC T765 processor, which is a new 6nm chip. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and also supports 4GB of virtual RAM for better multitasking.
The Lava Shark 5G runs on the latest Android 15. The best part is that it comes with no bloatware, so users will get a clean and smooth experience.
On the back, the phone has a 13MP main camera, and for selfies, there is a 5MP front camera.
It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking. Connectivity options are 5G SA / NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery, which should last all day with normal use. It supports 18W fast charging, but the box includes a 10W charger.
The Lava Shark 5G is priced at Rs. 7,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model. It is now available at Lava retail stores and the Lava e-store. Lava is also offering Free Service@Home for Shark 5G users across India. Users can also get support at Lava retail outlets.
