New Delhi: In an unfortunate incident, 11 coaches of the Kamakhya Express have reportedly been derailed near Nirgundi station in Cuttack’s Choudwar on Sunday. There are no reports of any casualties of passengers so far. Till the last report came in, railway officials had not reached the spot. A local reported that some passengers were leaving the scene on their own to find alternative ways to reach their destinations.

The incident occurred at around 11:55 am while the train (No. 12551) was en route from Bangalore to Guwahati. As per initial reports, passengers were seen deboarding with their luggage soon after one of the coaches went off the tracks.
