JioHotstar has announced changes to its subscription plans to offer flexibility in payments. Starting January 28, 2026, new subscribers will be able to choose monthly plans across all tiers, including Mobile, Super, and Premium.

Until now, monthly plans were limited, but the new structure adds monthly options alongside quarterly and annual plans across all tiers. The company says it wants to make JioHotstar more accessible.

For new users, the Mobile plan starts at Rs. 79 per month. The Super plan starts at Rs. 149 per month, while the Premium plan starts at Rs. 299 per month. JioHotstar has confirmed that there is no change in price or benefits for existing subscribers, as long as their auto renewal remains active.

JioHotstar now serves over 450 million monthly active users across the country, and the Android app crossed 1 billion downloads. It also claims to offer more than 300,000 hours of content across languages and genres.

JioHotstar’s content library includes major sporting events, shows from over 100 network channels, reality and unscripted content, creator-led programming, live cultural events, original series, films, kids content, anime, and a large international catalogue including Hollywood titles.
