JMI Admission 2025: For the 2025–2026 academic year, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has announced the opening of admissions and made the prospectus available online. The university is accepting students to 25 programs based on their CUET 2025 marks, and it has introduced 14 new programs this year. Interested students who wish to apply for admission to JMI can do so online and view the prospectus at admission.jmi.ac.in.

Admissions to 25 programs will be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) merit score including:

– Nine UG programs

– Five PG programs

– Eight diploma programs

– Three advanced diploma programs

This is a significant increase from the previous academic session, which had 20 programs under the CUET admission process.

The curriculum of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) now includes 14 additional courses:

Undergraduate:

– Bachelor of Design (BDes) – 4 years

– BSc (Hons) in Computer Science – 4 years

Diploma & Certificate Courses:

– Certificate in Design and Innovation

– Certificate in Textile Design

– Certificate in Graphic Art (Print Making)

– Certificate in Art & Aesthetics

– Certificate in Creative Photography

– Certificate in Calligraphy

– Certificate in Art Appreciation & Art Writing

Postgraduate & Advanced Diplomas:

– PG Diploma in Fire Safety, Lifts, and Plumbing Services

– MFA (Curatorial Practices)

– MFA (Art Management)

– MFA (Conceptual Art Practice)

– MFA (Graphic Art – Print Making)

The prospectus was made public online by Jamia Millia Islamia’s vice chancellor, Professor Mazhar Asif. JMI will administer entrance exams for 29 programs in eight different places throughout the nation.

Fee Reductions for Foreign Students and NRI Wards:

In order to attract more foreign students and NRI wards, JMI has lowered the fees for SAARC country applicants. Furthermore, the institution has lowered the cost of admission to diploma programs offered by the institution Polytechnic for foreign nationals and NRI wards. Two seats in the BDS course, which accepts students through NEET, have been reserved exclusively for foreign students.

Foreign nationals who want to join PhD programs in JMI now get a chance to sit in online admission interviews. This move is aimed at ensuring ease for individuals facing hassles of acquiring visas and journeying to India as part of the entrance procedure prerequisite.
