On Sunday (15th February), the Israeli producer of the hit spy thriller “Tehran” was found dead at a hotel in Greece’s capital, Athens. The dead body of a 52-year-old Dana Eden was found after one of her relatives made multiple failed attempts to reach her.
The police are treating the incident as a suicide based on preliminary evidence and testimonies. The police found pills at the scene. In addition, there were bruises on the deceased victim’s neck.
Meanwhile, Shula and Donna Productions, the company Dana Eden co-founded, issued a statement denying claims that Eden’s death was politically or nationally motivated.
“The production company would like to clarify that the rumours suggesting a criminal or nationally motivated death are untrue and completely baseless,” the statement reads.
As per the Israeli media reports, Dana Eden was in Greece for the filming of the fourth series of the show Tehran.
