Indore (Madhya Pradesh): As he completed three years in office on Tuesday, Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav marked the occasion by releasing a detailed 352-page report card titled “Made the Impossible Possible – Foundation Stone of Future Indore, Self-reliant Indore and Innovation.”
The document outlines over 3,000 development works, averaging three initiatives per day, aimed at transforming the city into a national benchmark of urban governance.
Speaking to media persons, Bhargav claimed that his tenure had not only focused on civic improvements but also on forward-looking innovations in green financing, digital governance and youth participation.
Highlights of Bhargav’s report card
Historic resolution of Hukumchand mill case: A 32-year-old labour dispute affecting thousands was resolved, paving the way for long-awaited justice.
Green push: Foundation stone laid for the Jalud Solar Project and launch of Green Bonds.
635 km of new roads, 1,550 km of drinking water pipelines laid
350 km of drainage lines upgraded, 127 wells and 12 ancient stepwells revived
512 recharge shafts constructed and over 1.41 lakh rainwater harvesting units installed
Digital leap: Launch of QR digital address pilot project under Smart City Mission.
Policy framed to install CCTVs across the city; locations identified.
Municipal corporation gained possession of the long-contested Karbala land.
Indore collected ₹1,000 crore in taxes for the first time and introduced a one-time settlement scheme for water tax.
₹450 crore investment in 23 master plan roads, with 10 already under development.
Phase-IV of the Narmada Water Project launched with a ₹2,134 crore investment to cater to the city’s water needs for the next 25 years.

Bhargava said that these milestones were just the beginning. “We have laid the foundation for a future-ready, inclusive and resilient Indore. The journey of transforming Indore into a global example of sustainable urban living has just begun,” he said.
