The Mumbai Central-Hapa Duronto Express is the longest non-stop train, covering a 493 km distance in one go. The train takes three halts during the six-hour journey to reach Hapa from Mumbai.
The Trivandrum-Nizamuddin Rajdhani previously held the speed record, completing its 2,845 kilometer route in 42 hours. This train travels between Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin station and Trivandrum, Kerala’s capital city. A recent addition of a Ratlam stop to the train route has shortened the continuous, non-stop segment from Kota to Vadodara from 528 kms to 258 kms.
