The delivery of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s (HAL) indigenous Tejas-Mk1A fighter jet is starting in October 2025. Tejas is a 4.5 generation multi-role combat aircraft (MRCA), which will further strengthen the Indian Air Force.
The Indian Air Force will soon get a significant upgrade with the delivery of Tejas Mark-1A fighter jets. The delivery of fighter jets is expected by next month by the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), Aajtak reported. The delivery of Tejas Mark-1A fighter jets is part of a larger effort to strengthen the air defence capabilities of the country. Talking about Tejas, it is an advanced state-of-the-art, single-engine multi-role fighter jet which is specifically designed to perform air defence, maritime reconnaissance and strike roles.
