Sharing a video, Qamar Cheema said, “Some defense agreements between India and Russia have been delayed. It is believed that since Russia itself is embroiled in a war with Ukraine, in such a situation it is not able to give arms to India in time and India is not happy with this. In such a situation, India has turned to the West and America for weapons.”
“India has shown a massive pro-US tilt. Russia is also paying attention to this. It is also natural to get the attention of Russia because India has been buying most of the weapons from them, but in the last few years, the US has opened the doors for India, so New Delhi is also looking around. It seems that India does not want to close any door. It wants to be prepared for a war-like situation.”
Cheema says that Russian President Vladimir Putin feels that India will continue to move forward with Russia for the sake of old relations. Putin also tries not to go towards India, but the truth is that India will only see its benefits. It is also taking supplies from America, but it knows that America can annoy it in the coming time, that’s why Russia is not closing the way either. India feels that whatever it is getting for the time being, it should be taken.
On the comparison of weapons between Russia and the USA, Cheema said that weapons from Russia are available at a cheaper rate to an extent but India does not want too much delay. Due to the Ukraine war, some of its weapons are stuck in Russia. It does not want the deals with Russia to be delayed. In such a situation, it has changed his policy and shifted towards America. However, India is taking oil from Russia and it is not spoiling relations with anyone.
