Bengaluru: The residents of Garden City will experience a sunny day on Monday, February 17, 2025, and it will remain so throughout the day. The weather department has predicted that temperatures will also likely increase in a few days.

According to the IMD, temperatures are higher in several regions of Karnataka, including Bengaluru, Bagalkote, Dharwad, Gadag, Mandya, Kalaburagi, Chitradurga, Davanagere, Chintamani, and Mysuru. Meanwhile, other areas of Karnataka are experiencing normal ranges of temperature.

Today, the city experienced the Sunrise at 6:41 AM and is expected to see Sunset at 6:26 PM. The minimum temperature is projected to be 18 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature could reach 32 degrees Celsius. Typically, temperatures tend to rise in April; however, this year, there was a sharp increase in temperatures at the end of January.

Today’s weather

On February 12, the city’s maximum temperature was recorded at 33.6 degrees Celsius, and it was the hottest day recorded so far. The citizens experience high temperatures in the afternoon. However, nights remain chilly and residents of the garden city have been experiencing cool temperatures. The weather department said that the sharp increase in temperature could increase health issues.

Temperature to rise in coming days

The weather department also said that the summer may arrive earlier than usual. The humidity level is expected to range around 57 per cent. Today, the wind is expected to blow steadily from the East at a speed of 13 km/h.

The IMD predicts mostly cloudy skies for Tuesday, February 17, 2025. The minimum and maximum temperatures will likely hover around 18 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius respectively. The humidity will likely to be around 53 per cent. The wind will blow steadily from the East at 13 km/h. The city is predicted to witness the Sunrise at 6:41 AM and the Sun is expected to set at 6:26 PM
