Tomorrow’s weather in Delhi
Light fog and smog are expected in many areas of Delhi tomorrow morning, while the sky will clear with light haze or fog in the afternoon. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 32 and 34°C, and the minimum temperature between 20 and 22°C. The minimum temperature will be 1–3°C above normal, and the maximum temperature will be 1–2°C above normal. Winds will be from the southeast at around 6 km/h in the morning, increasing to 8 km/h in the afternoon. During the evening and night, the wind speed may decrease to 6 km/h, and the direction will remain towards the east.
Air quality in Delhi
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 284 at 9 am, which falls in the ‘poor’ category. Air quality remained in the “very poor” category at 12 of the city’s 38 monitoring stations. According to the data, Anand Vihar recorded the highest AQI of 430, followed by Wazirpur at 364, Vivek Vihar at 351, Dwarka at 335, RK Puram at 323, Siri Fort, Dilshad Garden, and Jahangirpuri at 318, Punjabi Bagh at 313, Nehru Nagar at 310, Ashok Vihar at 305, and Bawana at 304.
According to the Air Quality Index, 0 to 50 is considered “good,” 51 to 100 “satisfactory,” 101 to 200 “moderate,” 201 to 300 “poor,” 301 to 400 “very poor,” and 401 to 500 “severe.”
How will the weather be in UP and Bihar on Diwali?
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will be normal in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar on Diwali, with no rain expected. All districts in Uttar Pradesh are in the green zone, so the weather will be clear and pleasant. A drop in temperature during the night and morning will make it feel cold. Bihar will also experience pleasant weather on Diwali, although temperatures may rise slightly over the next two days. Starting October 25, the effects of the cold will be felt more in the mornings and evenings in rural areas of Bihar.
