Preview:
A misfiring SunRisers Hyderabad will have the opportunity to extract a revenge win against the Mumbai Indians as they face them in what will be a critical match of IPL 2025 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on April 23, Wednesday. Having won both of their games in their backyard, the SunRisers will return to the comforts to their home in a bid to revive their campaign.
While their batting unit has performed decently if not on a consistent basis, it is the SunRisers’ bowling department that has been a worry. The SunRisers’ bowling unit conceded ridiculous number of runs even when they beat the Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings. With no longer any experienced spinner to depend on either in the squad, the Orange Army face an uphill task to reach the playoffs.
Having registered three consecutive wins, Mumbai Indians now look completely different side. Their victory over the Chennai Super Kings on Sunday is the most complete batting performance the five-time champions have produced this year. Rohit Sharma finding his form again invites more worry for the SunRisers.
