The attack on the innocent Hindu tourists has shaken the entire world. Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar also called for strong action, adding that mere condemnation is no longer enough.
New Delhi: In what appears to be the deadliest attack in the Kashmir Valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019, terrorists on Tuesday opened fire at a famed meadow near Pahalgam, killing at least 26 people, mostly tourists. According to the reports, 5–6 terrorists, clad in camouflage outfits and kurta-pyjamas, came to the Baisaran meadow from the dense pine forest surrounding the valley and opened fire with AK-47s. The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of Pakistani terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack on the innocent Hindu tourists has shaken the entire world. Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar also called for strong action, adding that mere condemnation is no longer enough.
Spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankar said, “At this hour of grief and rage, the whole world should come together to show the place of the terrorists where they belong. Every sane person will condemn this, but now it’s not just enough to condemn; there is a need for action. Everyone should come together and really corner these people who have been indoctrinated in such a terrorist mindset. It should be nipped in the bud where such indoctrination is being given, wherever it is in the world. Innocent people’s lives are being targeted by this inhuman behaviour, which should be done away with. At this hour of grief, let’s all pray for the strength of the victims’ families.”
