Gun-Toting Men Caught On Camera In Pune’s Kothrud; Police Confirm It Was Air Gun (VIDEO) | Video Screengrab
A viral video of individuals openly carrying firearms in Pune’s Kothrud area has sparked serious concerns over public safety and law enforcement.
The footage, widely circulated on social media, depicts people casually strolling with guns, raising alarms about the rising issue of illegal weapon possession in the city.

The incident took place near Kishkinda Nagar in Kothrud on Tuesday around 7pm. Meanwhile, police have detained two people in connection with the case and clarified that it was an air gun.
Sambhaji Kadam (Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-3 ), speaking to The Free Press Journal, said, “Two people have been detained regarding the matter, and police are searching for the others. The accused are residents of Mulshi and came here with friends.”
“We have also seized the air gun. There are no cases against them earlier. The matter is under investigation. We are thoroughly investigating the incident and will ensure that legal action is taken against those violating the law,” he added.
