‘Give Saplings Prepared At Government Nurseries To Farmers’ | Representative Image
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Horticulture and Food Processing Minister has said that vegetable saplings should be prepared in the government nurseries located near the city and made available for sale to the farmers.
Also, weeding and cleaning should be done regularly at all government nurseries. Singh said it while holding a meeting with the officials of the departments in the Collector office on Friday and inquired about the progress.
Minister Singh, while taking information about the beneficiaries of the schemes being run for the disabled and the elderly, the material being made available to them and the pension, said that KYC of pensioners should be done 100%, so that they do not face any problem in getting pension.
Apart from this, the minister discussed about the information of marriages held under the Kanya Vivah Yojana and the material distributed to them, the plants planted in the nurseries and the fertilizer and water given in it. He also visited the Government Nursery Borgaon Khurd, located on Khandwa Road on Friday.
Taking information about the staff of nurseries and the work being carried out in the year, he directed that the works which are going on should be completed in this session itself and coordination should be established with the public representatives.
He said that the targets given by the department should be fulfilled 100%. Farmers should be sent to Lucknow, Malihabad (U.P.) and Rajasthan for training and tour. Khandwa MLA Kanchan Tanve, Pandhana MLA Chhaya More, Khandwa mayor Amrita Yadav and officers and employees of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
