Polling took place at the Assembly constituencies of Kadi (SC) and Visavadar in Gujarat, Nilambur in Kerala, Ludhiana West in Punjab and Kaliganj in West Bengal.

Assembly By-Election Results 2025: The counting of votes has begun for the by-elections to five Assembly seats in four states. The election commission is conducting the counting in Gujarat for the Visavadar and Kadi constituencies. Votes are also being counted for the Nilambur seat in Kerala, the Kaliganj in West Bengal and the Ludhiana West in Punjab. The polling was held for these constituencies on the 19th of this month. The counting of votes for the Ludhiana West Assembly is being held at Khalsa College For Women. It will take 14 rounds to complete the exercise.
General Observer Rajeev Kumar and District Election Officer Himanshu Jain inspected the arrangements for the counting of votes.

Assembly By-Election Results 2025: LIVE UPDATES
- UDF’s lead increased to 4,434 votes when six round of counting was over, covering Vazhikkadavu, Moothedam and Edakkara panchayats.
- AAP candidate Sanjeev Arora was leading with a margin of 2,482 votes against his nearest rival and Congress nominee Bharat Bhushan Ashu from the Ludhiana West assembly seat in Punjab on Monday, according to initial trends.
Polling took place at the Assembly constituencies of Kadi (SC) and Visavadar in Gujarat, Nilambur in Kerala, Ludhiana West in Punjab and Kaliganj in West Bengal. Nilambur Assembly segment in Kerala recorded the highest polling percentage of 73.26 %, the lowest was recorded in Ludhiana West (51.33 %) in Punjab. Kadi saw a voter turnout of 54.49 %, Visavadar (54.61 %) and Kaliganj (69.89 %).
