In the Bihar Assembly Election 2025, the main contest is been between the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) led by CM Nitish Kumar and PM Modi and the Mahagathbandhan led by Tejashwi Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. As per a PTI report, the ruling NDA appeared to have taken an early lead in the Bihar assembly elections on Friday morning, with multiple television channels projecting that the BJP-JD(U) combine was ahead as counting was underway for 243 assembly seats at 46 centres in 38 districts.
