After years of being an Xbox and PC exclusive, Forza Horizon 5 is finally making its way to PlayStation 5 on April 29. Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Playground Games have officially announced the release date of their racing game for Sony’s platform. Pre-orders are now live, with pricing as follows:

  • Standard Edition – $59.99
  • Deluxe Edition – $79.99
  • Premium Edition – $99.99 (Includes early access starting April 25)

Forza Horizon 5 first launched on November 9, 2021, for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. Now, the PS5 version is set to offer two graphical modes. The Performance Mode runs at 60 FPS for smooth gameplay, and it also gets increased visual fidelity. Quality Mode promises 30 FPS but with enhanced visuals. It features ray-traced car reflections in Races and Free Roam.

Forza Horizon 5 is an open-world racing game set in Mexico. It features some of the world’s most stunning landscapes. From dense jungles to snow-capped volcanoes, the game offers a breathtaking driving experience with hundreds of legendary cars.

You also enjoy Multiplayer & Social Mode, where you join Horizon Arcade for fun challenges, connect with players worldwide in Horizon Open, and participate in thrilling races.

The game also lets you design your own custom races, stunts, and challenges, tweak your cars with new body kits, wheels, and paint options, and even share your creations with the community.

Forza Horizon 5 was initially launched on November 9, 2021, across PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. The game was announced for the PS5 back in January of this year. However, the company didn’t confirm the exact release date. Now we know when the game is coming to PS5.
