After nearly five years, Fortnite is finally making a comeback on iOS in Brazil. Epic Games has officially confirmed that the game will be available in the country starting July 2025. It is a good news for iOS users who have been waiting since the ban in August 2020.
Fortnite Brasil confirmed this news via a post on X.

As of late 2024, iOS held nearly 17% of the mobile market in Brazil. With Fortnite’s return, thousands of players will be able to jump back into the game on their iPhones and iPads. While Epic hasn’t shared the exact launch date, the game is expected to go live during Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 or early Season 4.
Instead of the App Store, Fortnite iOS will be available via the Epic Games Store (EGS) in Brazil. This aligns with Epic’s ongoing push to distribute games outside Apple’s ecosystem, especially after regulatory changes in some regions.
Brazil isn’t the only country on the list—Epic Games has also confirmed that Japan will get Fortnite iOS in late 2025. This raises the possibility that other regions might soon follow. If the rollout in Brazil and Japan is successful, we could see EGS expanding to more iOS markets by the end of the year.
For players in the United States and other regions, the wait continues. While Epic is making progress, Apple’s tight control over app distribution is still a challenge. However, with Fortnite’s return to Brazil and Japan, there’s hope that other countries could eventually get access too.
