New Delhi: Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir has once again spewed venom against India. He threatened India with nuclear war and economic losses. He accused anti-Pakistan groups in Afghanistan of receiving Indian support. He also stated that his army is prepared for another confrontation with India, like the one in May. He reiterated that such a confrontation could escalate to a nuclear threat. Munir’s comments come at a time of tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Many experts say that India could exploit this tension to attack Pakistan.

India should not attack Pakistan: Munir

According to a report in Dawn, Asim Munir said at an army event on Saturday, 18 October 2025, that India should not take any action like Operation Sindoor again. There is no possibility of war between two nuclear-armed countries. Munir said, “I warn the Indian military leadership that we will not be intimidated or pressured by your rhetoric. We will respond decisively to any provocation.”

If hostilities erupt…

Asim Munir said, “If a new wave of hostilities begins, Pakistan will respond more forcefully than expected. The reach and lethality of our weapons systems will change India’s perception. Any new conflict could cause terrible damage. Its impact could have devastating consequences throughout the region and beyond.”

Asim Munir patted himself on the back, saying that we did a remarkable job in the four-day conflict with India in May. Munir claimed that May further strengthened the confidence and trust of the people of Pakistan in the capabilities and long-term capabilities of our armed forces. People now have greater trust in the military.

Munir pats himself on the back

In May of this year, India and Pakistan witnessed a four-day military conflict. During this period, India targeted several terrorist hideouts in Pakistan. Pakistan suffered several setbacks during this period, but the Pakistani Army tried to appease its people by calling it a victory. Amidst the tension with Afghanistan, the Pakistani Army is once again praising itself.

Asim Munir also strongly criticised the Taliban for the conflict on the Afghanistan border. He said that the Taliban government must stop using its soil for terrorist activities in Pakistan. Munir’s comments came after the Pakistan Army’s attack in Afghanistan on Friday night. This attack caused massive damage in Afghanistan.
