Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton officially began his highly anticipated journey with Ferrari, stepping into the cockpit of the new SF-25 car for the first time at Fiorano. The British driver’s arrival at the iconic Italian team has already generated immense excitement among fans, marking the beginning of a new era for both Hamilton and Ferrari.

A massive crowd of Ferrari supporters gathered around the Fiorano circuit to catch a glimpse of the action. However there was one moment which has caught the attention of fans on social media.

A video circulating on social media captured the moment when the fan, frustrated by a tree obstructing the view, climbed it with what appeared to be a portable electric saw. The determined supporter proceeded to cut off the top section of the tree, ensuring a clearer sightline for himself and fellow spectators.

Fresh from unveiling their new car at the F1 season launch in London’s O2 Arena, the Scuderia returned to Italy for the first on-track laps of their 2025 challenger. The Fiorano session allowed Ferrari to complete a 200km shakedown before heading to Bahrain for pre-season testing.

Hamilton’s Move to Ferrari – A New Chapter

Hamilton’s decision to leave Mercedes for Ferrari stunned the motorsport world when announced in February 2024. After securing six of his seven world titles with the Silver Arrows and contributing to eight consecutive constructors’ championships, his switch to the Maranello-based team marks a significant shift in his career.

This move is only the second of Hamilton’s F1 journey and his first international switch. Having won his maiden world title with McLaren in 2008 before joining Mercedes in 2013, the Brit now embarks on a new challenge, hoping to add another championship to Ferrari’s illustrious history.
