Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Payal Modi, one of the directors of Jaishri Gayatri foods, had made a suicide attempt on Friday and a ‘letter’ also went viral, in which she blamed EOW (Economic Offences Wing) and many people for their problems, but Enforcement Directorate sleuths had seized the letter in their raid on January 29, the officials claimed here on Monday.
A video went viral on social media in which, Modi in which she was seen blaming EOW, political leaders and other people for her attempt to suicide on Sunday. In the video, Payal is seen making serious allegations against the police, ED and former employees.
Payal is saying in the video – ‘These people have harassed us. They have made life difficult, there is no hearing. Get us justice.’ ED officials claimed that during their raid they had found the ‘letter’ which was handed to Chuna Bhatti police station. Police station in-charge Bhupendra Kour Siddhu told Free Press that ED officials had submitted the ‘letter’ which was part of the diary to the police, because of statements written in the letter.
She added that Payal Modi, meanwhile, attempted suicide and now allegations written in the letter will be investigated. She said that the police are probing the case and after getting proper evidences, action will be taken accordingly.
