A Pune senior police officer’s daughter, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, created a ruckus on the road at Jagtap Chowk in Wanawadi on the night of Saturday.
The incident came to light when a woman, in an inebriated state, sat on the road and started shouting at Jagtap Chowk in Wanawadi around midnight on Saturday.
Following the incident, an eyewitness filed a complaint at the Wanawadi Police Station in Pune. According to the information provided by the eyewitness, the woman was behaving indecently in a public place. The crowd gathered at the scene, causing a traffic disruption. Local citizens attempted to inform the police to bring the situation under control.
According to official information, the woman is the daughter of a police officer posted in Pune. Police have stated that she is an alcohol addict.
The issue was resolved after the control room received a call, and the situation was brought under control.
Earlier in January 2024, the daughter of a police officer had created a ruckus in an upscale society in the Wanawadi area. However, we could not confirm whether it is the same person or not.
The police officer’s daughter, in an inebriated state, entered the society premises on December 31. She reportedly engaged in a scuffle with a security guard, pushing him. Subsequently, she brought a table from the society to the gate, throwing it onto the road, causing a traffic obstruction. Additionally, she forcefully closed the society gate by pushing two chairs belonging to the security guard.
