Weather WARNING: The residents of the national capital are experiencing shivering nights as the minimum temperature has dropped below 10 degrees Celsius. However, the temperature is continuously fluctuating. The capital city has witnessed the coldest night on Wednesday with the mercury falling to 8 degrees Celsius. It was the coldest day since November 2022. Meanwhile, a thick layer of smog is also engulfing Delhi and adjoining NCR since last week, with air quality remaining in the ‘very poor’ category. Pollution levels have risen to hazardous levels in India’s commercial capital – Mumbai – as well. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued a heavy rain warning for the southern parts – Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. Check the weather update here.
