New Delhi: In light of the highly unfavourable meteorological conditions surrounding the national capital, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) Sub-Committee on GRAP has decided to impose Stage-III of the revised GRAP schedule issued on 13.12.2024 in the entire NCR. The action has been taken with immediate effect and is expected to have a huge impact on the increasing pollution.

GRAP III Measures: What’s not allowed

The Stage III of the GRAP Measures include restrictions like banning BS-IV diesel vehicles and changing public office timings. The pollution limiting steps aim to improve air quality in national capital and protect public health.

Moreover, Delhi-NCR public offices may have distorted timings to reduce exposure, and residential associations must provide electric heaters to prevent the burning of biomass during cold weather. These measures aim to curb pollution and protect public health amid Delhi’s seasonal air quality crisis.
