The touching moment was shared on Reddit, where the man expressed his gratitude to everyone who played a role in bringing the doggo back home.
A video of the moment shows the golden retriever’s tail wagging as he excitedly jumps into his owner’s arms. Charlie, overwhelmed with happiness, nuzzles and hugs his human, creating an emotional scene that has melted hearts online.

Delhi to Aligarh
Charlie went missing recently, this man got worried and took all efforts to find the animal, which is believed to be his pet. With the help of his friends, he put up posters across the local streets, hoping for a lead. Notably, his efforts paid off when a shopkeeper contacted him, saying he had seen a worker take the dog to Aligarh.
Shopkeeper gives lead
Familiar with the worker, the shopkeeper helped trace the person and, after some discussions (and possibly a few stern words), the worker finally revealed Charlie’s location.
Without wasting a minute, the dog lover engaged in the mission to bring Charlie back with the help of the shopkeeper. He travelled overnight to Aligarh to reunite with the dog. The journey ended in pure joy when he met and hugged his furry friend.
