UK And Canada Warn Their Citizens
Britain and Canada have also warned their citizens about the polluted air in Delhi. Canada has also advised its citizens travelling to Delhi to monitor pollution levels and limit outdoor activities.
GRAP Stage-4 Implemented
Air pollution in Delhi-NCR has reached dangerous levels. Recently, the Stage 4 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP), considered the strictest phase, was implemented. This imposed heavy restrictions on construction and industrial activities, advised schools and offices to adopt a hybrid mode, and urged people to stay indoors.
Delhi’s air pollution is not a local issue anymore, with big countries like Singapore, the UK, and Canada warning their citizens about the severity of air pollution in India’s capital.
