Bethesda’s popular time-loop shooter Deathloop is now free to claim on the Epic Games Store. This giveaway is part of the final week of Epic’s Mega Sale, and it is available until June 12. Along with Deathloop, the indie title Ogu and the Secret Forest is also free for a limited time.

Developed by Arkane Lyon and published by Bethesda, Deathloop is a fast-paced action game with a clever twist. The story takes place on the mysterious island of Blackreef, where two assassins, Colt and Julianna, are stuck in a time loop. You play as Colt and must find a way to break the loop by killing eight key targets in a single day.

You can approach each mission in many ways: silently with stealth, by setting traps, or going in with full firepower. The game also gives you supernatural abilities like teleporting, going invisible, and using telekinesis, much like Arkane’s earlier Dishonored series.

There is also a multiplayer element. Other players can enter your game as Julianna, trying to stop you from escaping. This makes every run unpredictable and exciting.

The second free game this week is Ogu and the Secret Forest. It is a hand-drawn 2D adventure that launched in 2024. You play as baby Ogu, who explores a fantasy world filled with puzzles, friendly characters, and boss battles. The art style is charming, and it is a relaxing game to enjoy at your own pace.

Both Deathloop and Ogu are free to claim on the Epic Games Store until June 12, and once you claim them, they are yours to keep forever. If you enjoy unique gameplay and great storytelling, do not miss this chance.

After this giveaway ends, Two Point Hospital, a funny hospital management game from SEGA, will be the next freebie on Epic. The mystery deals may be ending, but Epic’s free game tradition continues.
