The police are speculating that the reason for the suicide is increasing debt. This was made obvious from the suicide note recovered from the spot, which gave a hint at the financial troubles. The couple lived on the second floor, and their bodies were found by the relatives who lived on the ground floor.

Later, the police recovered a suicide note at the spot, which stated, “I have no complaints with my family; they all supported me. Please sell our car and house to settle the debt so that no one can say our debt remained unpaid”.
Sachin’s mother stated that her son was stressed because he was not able to collect 5 lakh rupees to deposit in the bank that day.
