The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, attended the convocation ceremony of the Babu Banarasi Das University in Lucknow. While addressing the public gathering, he highlighted the importance of AI (Artificial Intelligence) and said that the technology should be guided by the youth.
What did CM Yogi say?
CM Yogi Adityanath said, “AI has become essential in every field, but it must remain under human direction.” He further mentioned, “Technology does not take away jobs; it creates new opportunities. It is up to us to harness them effectively.”
“Festivals of all religions are celebrated peacefully. Be it Holi, Deepawali, Dusherra, Bakri Eid, or Christmas, all religious festivals are being celebrated with enthusiasm,” CM added, “I often ask them how the festival was, and the response has been very satisfying. When people start abiding by the law, it sends a positive message. We have to make law a part of our life.”
CM Yogi on UP’s development
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the state that used to struggle financially now holds an investment of more than Rs. 45 lakh crore. He also highlighted the strength of India during Operation Sindoor, adding that the drones were built by the state’s youth.
CM Yogi to the universities
The Chief Minister guided the universities to encourage practical technology-driven work like drones, IoT, AI, robotics, and various other domains. In addition, he mentioned that in order to build a Viksit Bharat, the universities should inculcate both technological and strong values among the youth.
