Children bear the brunt of violence in Sudan’s brutal civil war, report says

This week, the head of the United Nations Children’s Fund told global leaders that Sudan’s humanitarian crisis is the world’s biggest and most devastating. A new UNICEF report says 30 million people in Sudan are in need of aid, more than half of them children. Many of them face daily threats of violence and sexual assault.
