Panic erupted at Barabanki railway station after a bomb threat was reported on the Ayodhya Express (14205). A message written in the toilet of the S-8 coach stated: “This train will be blown up with a bomb at Lucknow Charbagh railway station.”

A passenger spotted this message and immediately informed the control room. Upon receiving the information, the GRP (Government Railway Police), RPF (Railway Protection Force), and civil police began inspecting the train. A dog squad and bomb disposal team were also called to the scene.

According to reports, security agencies questioned passengers and examined their luggage. Passengers from two bogies were evacuated while police and the bomb disposal team conducted their inspection. So far, no suspicious items have been found during the check. The threatening words written in the toilet have been erased.

The threat message read: “This train will be blown up with a bomb at Lucknow Charbagh station. Please don’t take this as fake. March 7. My friend, I am helpless, inform the police to prevent this accident. Or call 139. Otherwise, thousands of lives will be lost. My friend, help me. The bomb has been placed in an S-4/S-5 bag.”
