Railways announces 6 new LTT–Madgaon Ganpati special trains, bookings open August 5 | Representational Image
Mumbai: Railways will run 6 additional Ganpati Special Trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Madgaon for the benefit of Ganpati devotees during the ensuing Ganpati Festival. This is in addition to already announced 296 Ganpati Special Trains taking the figure to a total of 302 Ganpati Special Trains so far.
Details of additional 6 Ganpati Special Trains is as given below:
LTT- Madgaon –LTT Weekly Special (6 Services)
01003 Weekly special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus every Monday at 08.20 am on 25.08.2025, 01.09.2025 and 08.09.2025 and will arrive Madgaon at 10.40 pm same day. (3 trips)
01004 Weekly special will leave Madgaon every Sunday at 16.30 hrs on 24.08.2025, 31.08.2025 and 07.09.2025 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 06.00 hrs next day. (3 trips)
Halts: Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali.
Composition: One AC-2Tier, Three AC-3Tier, Two AC-3Tier Economy, 8 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second class, 1 Second Seating cum Guard’s brake van and 1 Generator Van.
Reservation: Bookings for Ganpati Special train no 01003 will open on 05.08.2025 at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in
Bookings for Unreserved Coaches can be done through UTS system with normal charges for unreserved accommodation as applicable for superfast Mail/Express trains.
