Motorola has launched the new Motorola Edge 70 Fusion smartphone in India. The device was recently unveiled at MWC 2026 a few days ago and has now officially introduced it for the Indian market. The phone brings several premium features to the mid-premium segment.

Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features a 6.78-inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED quad-curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is Pantone validated and supports HDR10+ along with 10-bit colour depth and 100 percent DCI-P3 colour coverage. Motorola says the display can reach up to 5200 nits peak brightness. The screen also has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and SGS eye care certifications.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor built on Qualcomm’s Oryon CPU architecture. Motorola claims the chipset offers up to 27 percent better performance and delivers an AnTuTu score of over 1 million. The device also includes a large vapor chamber cooling system to maintain performance during gaming and heavy tasks. It comes with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Motorola runs Android 16 with Hello UI. Motorola promises three Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates. The phone also includes additional features such as Moto Secure 5.0 with ThinkShield, Family Space, and Moto Unplugged.

Motorola has also added motoAI 2.0 features to the phone. These include AI tools such as Image Studio, Sketch to Image, Text to Sticker, and Style Sync. Productivity features include Catch Me Up 2.0, Pay Attention live transcription, and Global Search. The phone also integrates AI assistants such as Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and Perplexity.

The phone features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture to capture brighter photos with improved detail. It also includes a 13MP ultra-wide camera with macro support and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone supports 4K video recording across all cameras with Video HDR support.

It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options are 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C. It also has Stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support.

The phone packs a 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery and claims to deliver up to 52 hours of usage on a single charge. The phone also supports 68W TurboPower fast charging.

The phone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. It also meets MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability standards and can handle extreme temperatures and humidity conditions. It features a fabric-inspired finish on the back and Pantone-curated colour options. The phone is available in Pantone Blue Surf, Pantone Country Air, and Pantone Silhouette.

Price and availability

The smartphone will be available in three variants. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model is priced at Rs 26,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs 29,999. The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 32,999. With bank offers, the effective starting price comes down to Rs 24,999.

Motorola will start an early bird sale on March 6 between 12 PM and 4 PM on Flipkart with limited stock. The phone will officially go on sale starting March 12 via Flipkart, Motorola’s website, and retail stores across India.

The new Era 100 SL is the company’s latest compact wireless speaker, and it’s essentially the Era 100’s quieter sibling: same stellar audio DNA, just without built-in voice control.

No voice assistant means it won’t accidentally order you a pizza mid-playlist, which depending on your willpower is either a bug or a feature. What it will do is sit quietly on a shelf — at 182.5 × 120 × 130.5 mm, it genuinely disappears into a room — and then completely contradict its size the moment you hit play. Under two kilograms, looks like nothing, sounds like considerably more.

The speaker that doesn’t talk back

The hardware spec reads like Sonos meant business: three Class-D amplifiers, a mid-woofer, and a pair of tweeters that sit at an angle rather than pointing straight out front. That last detail matters more than it sounds — music from a speaker aimed at one spot in a room behaves very differently from music that’s being pushed outward in two directions.

Rooms are awkward, irregular spaces, and the Era 100 SL is at least trying to work with that rather than against it. The woofer keeps the low end from collapsing, which on a speaker this small is the difference between bass you feel and bass you merely read about on the spec sheet.

Wireless works over WiFi 6 or Bluetooth 5.3 — your choice, moment to moment. Someone wants to stick their phone on it directly? Bluetooth button on the back, done. You want the cleaner, uninterrupted stream? WiFi. Both live on the same speaker without fighting each other for dominance.

AirPlay 2 is there for Apple households, and a USB-C port on the back handles wired sources — turntable, laptop, whatever — through Sonos’s Line-In or Combo Adapter. Those are sold separately, which won’t surprise anyone who’s bought Sonos gear before. For the spec-curious: there’s a quad-core 4xA55 processor clocked at 1.4GHz running the show, backed by 1GB DDR4 RAM and 4GB of storage.

Simple on the outside, smarter than it looks on the inside

The touch controls sit on top — volume, play, pause, skip, grouping — and they’re the kind of thing you use without thinking about, which is exactly the point. There’s a small LED on the front too, easy to ignore right up until it’s midnight and you’re squinting at it trying to work out why the speaker’s gone silent.

Deeper control lives in the Sonos app: EQ adjustments for bass, treble and loudness, plus Trueplay, which wanders around your room acoustically, figures out what your sofa and bookshelves are doing to the sound, and quietly corrects for it. It does need an iOS device to run properly, which will irritate some people, and fairly so.

Getting it set up won’t ruin your evening. Plug in the 6-foot power cable, open the app, tap through a handful of screens. That’s genuinely it. Pick up a second one and they pair into a proper stereo setup, or press them into service as rear surrounds in a home theatre — they handle that job well too.

itel has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the ZENO 100. The new smartphone is part of the company’s ZENO series and focuses on durability, design, and essential features for first-time smartphone buyers. TikTok has teamed up with Apple Music to introduce a new feature called Play Full Song. It allows you to stream entire tracks directly from TikTok, but you will need an Apple Music subscription to access this feature.

Once connected, you can move from short clips to full songs without leaving the app. The feature builds on how people already discover music on TikTok. Millions of users hear a track in a video and then jump to a streaming service to play the full version.

With this update, whenever you come across a song you like on the For You feed or the Sound Detail page, you can tap the Play Full Song button. TikTok will launch an Apple Music player where you can listen to the entire track.

New music features are coming to TikTok

The new integration uses Apple’s MusicKit technology, which allows Apple Music to power playback inside the TikTok experience. This means streams count toward Apple Music listening data, and artists are compensated the same way they would be on the streaming service.

Once you start playing a track, you are not limited to that single song. TikTok can also surface a personalized stream of recommended songs through Apple Music. If you like what you hear, you can save the track to your Apple Music library or add it to one of your playlists directly from TikTok.

TikTok and Apple Music are also introducing a feature called Listening Party. It allows multiple users to listen to music simultaneously and interact with each other and even the artist while the track plays.

How TikTok is evolving from music discovery to music streaming

TikTok has already been expanding how music travels across platforms. The music streaming platform is trying to make song discovery more social instead of a solo listening experience.

Ubisoft has officially confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag is getting a remake. The new game will be called Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced. Fans have been waiting for this for years since the original 2013 game is one of the most loved Assassin’s Creed titles.

Ubisoft shared some concept art showing Edward Kenway on a pirate ship, but not much else is revealed. Nvidia has just announced DLSS 4.5. The update brings new AI-powered graphics technology, and the improvements offer a noticeable impact on how modern PC games look and perform. It was revealed alongside other RTX announcements during GDC 2026, focusing on boosting both visual quality and frame rates in demanding titles.

DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) has become a big part of Nvidia’s gaming ecosystem. It uses AI models running on RTX GPUs to reconstruct higher-resolution images and generate additional frames that allow games to run more smoothly without sacrificing visual fidelity. With DLSS 4.5, the technology is getting even better.

Smarter frame generation with DLSS 4.5

One of the notable new additions in DLSS 4.5 is Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, which automatically adjusts how many AI-generated frames are created during gameplay. Rather than sticking to a fixed multiplier, the system dynamically tweaks frame generation in real time to hit the target refresh rate.
