Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A cab driver allegedly harassed a girl in Bhanwarkuan area, police said on Tuesday. The girl, an undergraduate student, had booked the cab a few days ago so that her number was with the driver.

Since then, he was making phone calls to her and harassing her. Bhanwarkuan police station in charge Rajkumar Yadav informed that the girl lodged a complaint that she had booked a cab from the railway station to Khajrana area on January 2.

After that she received a call from the cab driver, who harassed her. She had warned him but the accused did not stop calling her. A case was registered and the cab driver was identified but he was not arrested till the filing of the report.

In another case, a 25-year-old woman lodged a complaint with Dwarkapuri police, saying that she worked as an accountant in a company where accused Surendra was her colleague. For a few months, the accused had been harassing her and once he also caught her hand with a bad intention. A case has been registered against him and investigation is on.
