OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest tablet – the OnePlus Pad 3. The new tablet is a major upgrade over its predecessor and brings a bigger screen, faster performance, improved battery, and AI features. It is already up for pre-order in Europe and North America and will launch in India soon.
The OnePlus Pad 3 features a 13.2-inch 3.4K IPS LCD display with 12-bit color, Dolby Vision HDR, 900 nits peak brightness, and stylus support. This is a noticeable jump from the previous generation and aims to offer an immersive viewing experience.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite chipset and has an improved cooling with a 34,857mm² heat dissipation area. The tablet also uses LPDDR5x RAM (12GB) or the faster LPDDR5T RAM (16GB), depending on the variant.
OnePlus has added eight speakers for a richer sound experience, compared to six on the previous model. The tablet also comes with OnePlus AI features powered by Google Gemini. You get tools like translation, summary, writing assistant, Circle to Search, and more.
There is a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and a USB Type-C port. The Pad 3 supports Seamless Connectivity with OnePlus phones. You can sync notifications, images, videos, and clipboard between your devices. It even works with Mac systems with drag-and-drop file transfer and native gesture support.
The tablet packs a 12,140mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It claims to charge from 1 to 100 percent in 92 minutes.
OnePlus is also offering some powerful accessories. The OnePlus Stylo 2 stylus supports 16,000 levels of pressure, haptic feedback, and even works as a laser pointer. The Smart Keyboard features six rows, a function row, a trackpad, and NFC for one-tap pairing.
During the pre-order period, buyers in Europe can choose between a free Smart Keyboard or Folio Case, and also enjoy student discounts, trade-in benefits, and up to 50% off on other OnePlus devices like the Pad Go or Watch 3.
While the OnePlus Pad 3 is now official in Europe and North America, it is also coming soon to India. OnePlus has not revealed the exact date yet, but Indian users can expect it shortly after July 2, when the tablet starts shipping globally.
