Hyperloop is a revolutionary, high-tech transport technology in which a capsule-like pod is propelled inside a low-pressure tube.

New Delhi: India’s first Hyperloop project, set to revolutionize the country’s connectivity, is expected to be completed soon. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw reviewed the progress of this project in Chennai on Saturday. After completion, the distance between Bengaluru and Chennai can be covered in just 30 minutes. Hyperloop is a revolutionary, high-tech transport technology in which a capsule-like pod is propelled inside a low-pressure tube. Instead of using tracks, the pod is levitated in the air using magnetic force, known as magnetic levitation.

This system eliminates friction and air resistance, allowing the pod to reach speeds of over 1,000 kilometers per hour.
