Terming it a “total scam”, Ron DeSantis has claimed that the H-1B visa program allows companies to replace American workers with foreign labour, Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis has claimed that US companies often train American workers alongside H-1B visa holders but they lay off the American employees to hire the foreign workers, as reported by ANI news agency.
DeSantis added that the H1B visa practice is unacceptable and hurts American workers during an interview on Fox News, the ANI report said.
