LG Ladakh Kavinder Gupta given free hand to pick up new Chief Secretary?
LG Ladakh Kavinder Gupta is likely to pick next Chief Secretary for Ladakh from erstwhile J&K cadre. The incumbent Chief Secretary Ladakh Pawan Kotwal is set to retire on December 31. Reportedly, LG Ladakh Kavinder Gupta has been given free hand to take decision on the new Chief Secretary. Gupta was in July, administered the oath of office by the Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court, Justice Arun Palli. He is the third Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory.
