What is Kalma?
According to the report, 1450 years ago, the last prophet of Islam Hazrat Mohammad Saheb made its five pillars Kalma, Namaz, Roza, Zakat and Hajj. In which Kalma is the first principle of Islam. The Islamic meaning of Kalma is martyrdom i.e. testimony or oath.
According to media reports, Kalma declares the existence of one God (Allah). It declares Prophet Muhammad to be the messenger of Allah. It is believed that reciting Kalma once with full faith is enough to become a Muslim.
What is its importance?
It has an important place in Islam. To enter Islam, it is necessary to recite the first Kalma Tayyab. In Kalma, La ilaha illallah, Muhammadun rasul Allah is recited. The literal meaning of the first line is – there is no other god except Allah. The second line means – Muhammad is the prophet of Allah.
However, Shia Muslims have another line – Aliyun Waliullah. It means – Ali is the representative of Allah. Sunni and Shia Muslims all over the world recite Kalma. This is a very common religious practice. However, forcing someone to recite Kalma is a crime.
This is not the first time that Kalma has come into discussions. There have been many such cases in the past as well. Let us tell you that many Islamic countries of the world have given place to Kalma on their flags as well. These countries include countries like Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia.
