Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A one-day Employment and Apprenticeship Fair, titled ‘Yuva Sangam’, will be held in the city on Monday. It will provide employment, self-employment and apprenticeship opportunities to unemployed youth in the district at a single spot.
The event, organised under the joint aegis of District Employment Office, Industrial Training Institute (ITI) and District Industries Centre (DIC) Indore, will be held from 10.30 am to 3 pm at Industrial Training Institute, Nanda Nagar.
PS Mandloi, deputy director, employment, informed that in the fair there will be a golden opportunity for the youth to start a career. The applicants will also be given guidance regarding the loan process for starting a business. Representatives of many reputed companies like Indore Steel, Vishal Fab, Ruprang, Mosaic Work Skill, Altroz Technologies, Patel Motors, Navshakti Bio Care, Urja Tech Services, IFF Overseas, B-Able, etc. will participate in the job fair.
The companies will initially select applicants through the interview and provide them employment on attractive salaries for more than 500 different posts like sales executive, telecaller, packing, sales, team leader, driver, back office, helper, electrician, fitter, welder, tailor, security guard, etc.
Applicants between 18 to 40 years of age, who have passed in any subject from 8th to Post Graduation and applicants with technical qualifications like ITI, can participate in the job fair. They must bring all the certificates of their educational qualifications along with copies of bio-data and photocopies of other certificates like Aadhaar cards etc.
