In a special and warm gesture, Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II personally drove Narendra Modi to the Jordan Museum on Tuesday. Sharing the moment on X, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “On the way to The Jordan Museum with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II.” The Crown Prince is known to be the 42nd direct descendant of Prophet Mohammad.
This is not the first time Prime Minister Modi has shared such symbolic travel moments with world leaders. On December 5, Modi travelled in a white Toyota Fortuner with Vladimir Putin from Palam Airport to his residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg. Putin was in India on a two-day state visit to attend the India-Russia Annual Summit.
Earlier, in September, Modi and Putin had also travelled together in the same car to their bilateral meeting venue in Tianjin, China, highlighting the close diplomatic ties between the two countries.

This was not the first time PM Narendra Modi has used what is often called “car diplomacy.”
Earlier this month, during Vladimir Putin’s visit to India, the two leaders travelled together in the same car. This repeated a similar moment from three months earlier, when PM Modi rode with Putin in the Russian leader’s car during their meeting in Tianjin.
