Amazfit has launched its new smartwatch, the Amazfit Bip 6, in India. This is the latest smartwatch in the popular Bip series. The new watch comes with several upgrades and is priced at Rs. 7,999.
The Amazfit Bip 6 features a big 1.97-inch AMOLED display. This is a big improvement over the LCD screen used in the previous model. The display offers a sharp resolution of 390 x 450 pixels and can reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. It also has an Ambient Light Sensor that adjusts the screen brightness automatically based on the surroundings.
The smartwatch comes with a strong and stylish aluminum alloy frame. It is also water-resistant up to 5 ATM, which means it can handle water pressure up to 50 meters. This is better than the IP68 rating offered in the Bip 5.
The Bip 6 is packed with health features. It has a BioTracker PPG sensor that can measure your heart rate, blood-oxygen level (SpO2), stress level, and more. There is also a one-tap measurement feature that checks all your vitals at once. The smartwatch supports over 140 sports modes. It includes popular activities and new modes like HYROX Race, Smart Strength Training, and Personalized AI Coaching. Built-in GPS now supports five satellite systems for better accuracy while tracking your outdoor workouts.
The Amazfit Bip 6 supports Bluetooth calling. It has a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can take calls directly from your wrist without needing to pick up your phone. The watch runs on Zepp OS 2.0 and connects to Android phones running Android 7.0 or higher, and iPhones running iOS 14.0 or higher.
You also get notifications for calls, messages, and apps. The watch can also control music and your smartphone’s camera. Other features include calendar reminders and alerts for when you have been sitting too long.
Battery life is another strong point of the Amazfit Bip 6. It comes with a 340mAh battery. According to the company, the smartwatch can last up to 14 days with normal use. If you are a heavy user, it will last up to 6 days. In battery saver mode, it can go up to 26 days on a single charge.
Amazfit Bip 6 is available in four colours: Black, Charcoal, Stone, and Red. You can buy it from Amazon.in and the official Amazfit India website starting today at 12 PM.
