Heavy rainfall lashed parts of Delhi-NCR on Monday morning, giving a major relief from the heat and humidity. The IMD has issued a yellow alert for more heavy rainfall.
Delhi-NCR Weather: The national capital and adjoining National Capital Region (NCR) has woken up to pleasant weather following an early morning downpour on Monday. Heavy showers drastically reduced the temperature along with the humidity, making the weather cloudy and pleasant. The India Meteorological Department issued a yellow for more downpour, predicting ‘generally cloudy sky’ today.

The weather department issued a warning for next two hours at 6.30 am on X stating that light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm is expected in Delhi-NCR region. The wind speed is likely between 30-40 Km/h gusty winds.
“Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with light thunderstorm and lightning (30-40 Km/h gusty winds) is likely to occur at entire Delhi and NCR, Narwana, Fatehabad, Barwala, Jind, Adampur, Hissar, Gohana, Gannaur, Hansi, Siwani, Meham, Sonipat, Tosham,” the IMD said on X.
